Guard Passing

“In my opinion, passing the guard is by far the most difficult aspect of BJJ.  If a guy has strong legs and active hips, dealing with his guard can be absolute hell.” — The Black Belt Blueprint by Nicolas Gregoriades

Guard passing is the Joker to my Batman; The Lex Luthor to my Superman; The Yoko Ono to my John Lenon. I just can’t figure it out.  I read about it, and watch videos about it, and drill techniques for it, etc, etc, and still it vexes me to no end.  I’m determined though.  I will keep trying and trying. I take some comfort in the realization that I am not alone with this problem.  The above quote pretty much sums up my feelings on guard passing.
