A Little Help

I need a little help from y’all. I’m looking to gain some of the knowledge that a personal trainer would have, without enrolling in school. Can anyone suggest some texts or books that I should read?  We’re taking entry level people. šŸ˜€

  1. I’d look at Fitness- The Complete Guide by International Sport Sciences Association (ISSA) which is required reading for their certification process.

    Also many would consider Strength Training Anatomy a must read for anyone looking to teach strength training or fitness.

    Both can be picked up on Amazon fairly cheap

  2. Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but Dan John has some great stuff about programming, training in general, etc. He’s also an advocate of keeping things simple, which is very refreshing! šŸ™‚
