Top Of The World

Lake Louise opened their Top Of The World Chair today. Watching that clip give me goose bumps. It makes me feel like coming home for the first time in years. Like seeing a best friend from your childhood. I could help but smile.

This morning it was cold and crisp when I left the house for work.  I didn’t expect it.  To be honest, once I took that long, deep breath of cool air, I felt like everything was going to be ok.  My favorite time of year is fast approaching.  Go ahead, call me crazy, but I love winter!  I just have to hurry up and get my boat winterized before the first snow.  lol

Is Winter Really Just Around The Corner?

It’s friggin’ 26 degrees Celsius today!  Don’t ask me what that is in Fahrenheit.  I’m sitting here sweating at work.  I feel like I just rolled for 30 min.  I was all excited earlier in the week because it was cool during the day and downright cold at night.  Now I’ve got the air conditioner one.  Grrr…  There was a frost warning 2 days ago.

For those of us who have never been able to properly explain ourselves in a warmer climate (from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), the end of summer and anticipation of first frost, can’t get here soon enough.  I’ve got 2 ski trips booked already.  I can’t shift back in to warm weather mode now!  Watch the vids below to stay focused on your cold weather obsession.
